We are a married couple who have traveled together since 1990 and we are the parents of two adult sons. We are Finns and we live in Siivikkala. Both of us have over 35 years of work history in various roles in the professional theaters. Elina on the artistic side as a dancer-choreographer as a regular member of Dance theater MD. Janne as a technical manager and staff supervisor at Tampere Theatre. We are still active consumers of culture and enthusiasts of physical activity. Elina also works as a licensed sports massage therapist.

We made a professional change and became entrepreneurs just before the global shutdown caused by the corona pandemic in February 2020. Our common interest in woodworking and incustomer-oriented craft created the desire to found FinUnic Oy, where we combine the skill of making things with our hands and creativity. We want to implement ideas and plans that can be seen with the eyes and touched with the hands.

Despite the many unpleasant world situations at the beginning, we have been able to implement several great projects in Finland and elsewhere in Europe.
